Job Description

WB Games Boston is looking for a UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in UX development to create unique, high-quality experiences on an upcoming mobile title. You will need to be able to quickly iterate and develop flows, screens, icons, and information hierarchy. Top design skills, collaboration and communication are key as you will work across multiple groups to translate requirements into compelling and top-notch designs.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience in a UX Design role on mobile products (games preferred).
• A portfolio that demonstrates a thoughtful UX methodology and user-friendly designs in professional work. Applications submitted without a portfolio link will not be considered.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one standard UX tool such as Figma, Sketch, XD, etc.
• Professional knowledge of UX best practices, platform requirements, user empathy, and accessibility.

Additional Information

This role may be long-term remote for candidates living in select states within the U.S. The incumbent will be employed by Yoh Staffing and will receive salary and benefits accordingly.

The Daily Responsibilities

• Rapidly design and create low-fidelity Wireframes, Prototypes, user flows, and more for multiple features, large and small.
• Work with stakeholders and define fact-finding research opportunities for target player personas, user journeys, and flows.
• Think critically, demonstrate empathy, and create recommendations for player interactions and desired behaviors within our game systems.
• Drive collaboration with engineers, PMs, artists, and game designers to initiate and document ideation of feature needs.
• Seek reviews from stakeholders and peers to rapidly iterate upon UX designs, making decisions informed by feedback and user data.

The Nice to Haves

Knowledge of Game UX or mobile UX practices.
