Job Description

As a Web Designer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborating with clients and team members to gather requirements and understand project goals
• Conducting user research to inform design decisions and improve user experience
• Developing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts
• Implementing responsive design principles to ensure websites are optimized for various devices
• Utilizing web development frameworks such as Redux and WordPress to streamline development process
• Integrating third-party tools and platforms such as MailChimp for email marketing campaigns
• Optimizing websites for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic
• Performing website maintenance tasks, including updating content, fixing bugs, and troubleshooting issues
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and development

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies
• Experience with user research techniques and usability testing
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms
• Knowledge of email marketing principles and tools such as MailChimp
• Understanding of digital design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and best practices for online transactions
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL for dynamic website functionality
• Proficiency in using web development frameworks such as Redux or WordPress
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
• Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
