Job Description
We seek a talented and creative Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and refining the user experience of our innovative software, ensuring it meets the high standards and needs of our clients in the TV and film industry. Please note that the listed salary is for a full-time role. Because this role is only part-time, your actual salary will be adjusted based on your hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing with directors, editors, and visual effects artists in the video production industry to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with our development team to create intuitive, user-friendly software interfaces.
- Collaborate with freelance graphics designers to help convey your creative designs.
- Ensure a consistent and cohesive visual language across all product interfaces by implementing our brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices to enhance our software.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, ideally within the tech or media industry.
- Experience in designing interfaces and conducting user interviews.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging user experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or online conversion course certificate in UX Design.
Additional Information
- When and where you’ll be working: This is a part-time role, with work pattern (start-end times and WFH) negotiable after the probation period. During the probation period, you will need to be in-person at the office in Bristol from Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 17:30.
