Job Description:

This is an on-site, IMMEDIATE HIRE contract role, with possibility for extension, for a Sports Photographer in Houston, Texas. The Sports Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality photos of athletes during competitions and uploading edited photos for the marketing team to be used for player photos, social media posts, and marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

• Phenomenal at taking amazing photos, especially for basketball or other sports
• Creative eye for what looks good and what doesn’t; takes pride in the quality of work
• Ability to produce well-coloured, balanced photos even under difficult court lighting
• Fast turnaround time (photos taken, edited, and uploaded within 3 days)
• Responsible, communicative, and punctual
• Own high-quality camera rig
• Strong photography skills, experience in sports photography is a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or other photo editing software
• Ability to work under moderate pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the on-site commissioner and athletes as required
