Job Description:

Portland Wine Week is seeking a self-motivated, creative, reliable, quality-focused, and organized individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator & Manager. This individual will be responsible for leading Portland Wine Week’s social media presence across multiple platforms. Their tasks include developing a content strategy, shooting and editing photography and video, writing copy, and regularly posting content and stories. The goal is to raise awareness and attendance for Portland Wine Week events, restaurants, sponsors, and participants.

Requirements:

• Fluency in all social media platforms and trends
• Outstanding time management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Detail-oriented and passionate for quality work
• Strong photography, video, and writing skills (a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• 0-2 years of experience (industry experience or familiarity a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Other Information:

• Hours: 10-15 hours per week (flexible)
• Project Dates: February 1 - June 20 (with the possibility of longevity)
• Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Expected work location: In person in Portland, ME
• Educational experience and ability to relocate before starting work is required
