Job Description:
We are looking for a social media Editor and Videographer to assist with filming, editing, and posting videos for our online slime shop, Cornwithslime LLC. The responsibilities include coming up with new exciting and engaging video ideas, editing and posting video content for social media platforms, setting up and breaking down video sets, sculpting or molding new clays/figures for videos, engaging with the audience on social media platforms, and pitching partnership/collaboration ideas to brands and influencers. The role also involves staying up to date with video analytics and trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ year of editing video content, preferably on TikTok & Youtube
- Ability to execute and optimize social strategies across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
- Stay up to date with social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram
- Proven experience in creating engaging content for TikTok and Instagram
- Proficiency in video editing
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing and executing big ideas
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and professionalism
- Experience with slime is not required
Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break
Pay:
- Hourly pay rate starts at $16.50/hr during a 4-week trial period
- After the trial period, compensation will be evaluated and potentially increased to $17.50/hr if the position becomes permanent
