Job Description:

Fancy working for one of the UK’s most well-renowned retail clients? Then let’s go! This client is looking for a freelance senior UX product designer to be involved in redesigning their mobile app. As part of the app team, you will report to the Head of Product. This role is primarily UX-focused, with a ratio of 70% UX and 30% UI. You will be responsible for conducting UX investigation, discovery exploration workshops, and informed design. The client is looking for someone with extensive app experience who can bring a wealth of UX knowledge to the project. You should be able to showcase not just wireframes but also show how the information is displayed in the design. The client is data-driven and seeks informed design. Good app and UI skills are a must. The client has a legacy design system in place but wants to expand and improve it. You should also be capable of performing UX user testing and be confident in discussing user testing methods.

Requirements:

• Extensive mobile app experience
• Ability to showcase previous app projects
• UX investigation and discovery exploration workshop experience
• Informed design skills
• Strong app and UI skills
• Experience with legacy design systems
• Capability to conduct UX user testing and discuss testing methodologies

Other Information:

• Start: Within the next 3-4 weeks
• Length: 3 months with a great chance of extension
• Day rate: £700 per day
• IR35: Inside IR35 – Must invoice through your Umbrella company, legally cannot invoice through your Ltd for this one
