Job Description

We’re looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as a Designer. Crate and Barrel Designers have a passion for helping customers see what is possible with the latest on-trend merchandise. They build meaningful relationships with customers, use their knowledge to guide and advise customers in furnishing a room, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends. Designers utilize digital tools and technology to show customers how our furniture, fabrics, and decor can bring their vision to life. If you enjoy working with customers, have a passion for home interiors, and a proven ability to drive sales, this position offers a creative and rewarding career.

Requirements

• Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate the brand vision and customer wants/needs
• Affinity for technology and proficiency in floor planning tools
• Ability to stay up-to-date on current design trends
• Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
• 6+ months competitive sales or interior design service experience preferred
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist

Additional Information

Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends

Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night
