Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced User Interface Designer to join our team. As a User Interface Designer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Conducting user research to understand user behavior and preferences
• Creating visual designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience
• Collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs that meet design standards
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design
• Ability to change existing SCSS stylings to look cleaner and make them device independent

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a UX designer
• Experience with Figma (or similar) and advanced level HTML and SCSS
• Ability to provide advice on existing stylings and work proactively
• Exposure to Angular material
• Experience with Angular 12 and above
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, or Figma
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design improvements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Visio for creating process flows and diagrams
• Knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks for building interactive web applications

Additional Information:

• Job Type: Temporary contract
• Salary: £700.00-£750.00 per month
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In person
