Job Description:

People of Leisure is a small business based in Huntington Park, CA in the retail consumer products industry. We are seeking a Freelance Designer to help us design our Fall Catalogue. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives, create visually appealing designs for various platforms, and develop and execute design concepts. Your responsibilities will also include incorporating client feedback and staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices. Our work environment offers growth opportunities and provides a modern office setting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a freelance designer or in a similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
• Proficiency in WordPress and other content management systems
• Solid understanding of visual design principles and techniques
• Knowledge of sign manufacturing processes is a plus
• Familiarity with motion graphics and photo manipulation is a plus

Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator for creating illustrations and graphics
• Ability to design visually appealing materials that effectively communicate the desired message
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

• Pay: $25.91 - $30.02 per hour
