Job Description

Wellcare PAL is looking for a Freelance Videographer/Editor to work with our engaging team. Our office is headquartered in East Los Angeles and may need you to be able to travel around the Greater Los Angeles area. You will need to supply your own filming camera/equipment and editing software. Compensation will be based on a project-by-project basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Filming and Capturing Footage:

• Execute on-location video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage that aligns with the project requirements.
• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.

Editing and Post-Production:

• Edit raw video footage to produce engaging and compelling content.
• Incorporate music, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product.
• Ensure a consistent and cohesive style throughout all video projects.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with our creative team to understand project goals and deliver content that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as graphic designers and content creators, to achieve a unified vision.

Meeting Deadlines:

• Manage project timelines effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality videos on time.
• Communicate any potential delays or challenges in a proactive manner.

Requirements

• Ability to travel around the Greater Los Angeles area.
• Own filming camera/equipment and editing software.
• Experience in filming and capturing high-quality footage.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining video equipment.
• Strong skills in video editing and post-production.
• Ability to incorporate music, graphics, and effects in the editing process.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with a creative team.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive communication skills to address any potential delays or challenges.
• Contract and part-time availability.
• Schedule flexibility including weekends as needed.
• Work location is in person.

• Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, On call, Weekends as needed
