Position: Beach Photographer

Job Overview: As a Beach Photographer at Corpus Beach Rentals, you will play a vital role in creating memorable beach experiences for our customers. We offer guests various photo package bundles to choose from. We help guests create lifetime memories by capturing their most candid beach day moments and we send them home with a digital package of the days best shots. Guests love that they no longer have to remember to take photos, that they get to be in front of the camera instead of behind it, and they especially love relying on the special eye of a professional who thrives on capturing the most epic shots! As a Beach Photographer, you’ll also assist the team in setting up canopies, chairs, and other beach equipment each morning, as well as tear down at the end of the day. You’ll enjoy frequent interaction with customers, both from new walk up customers and existing reservations. Each day, guests arrive at the beach and look forward to the ease and convenience of walking straight to their shaded spot reserved just for them. We provide this experience by setting up canopies, chairs, beach games, coolers of water bottles, kids toys, tables, trash bags and also raking the sand to remove sticks, trash, and other debris. At 5pm, we take it all down. It’s that easy!

This is a seasonal role. Candidates can start as early as March and work through Labor Day.

Requirements

• Must have your own photography equipment.
• Previous photography experience required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Previous experience in a customer service or beach-related role is a plus.

Additional Information

Work Environment: The work environment is on the beautiful Corpus Christi beaches (JP Luby and South Packery). Candidates must be physically able and willing to perform manual labor, including setting up and taking down equipment. Candidates must also be willing to work outdoors (which is pretty amazing, in our opinion!).

Shifts: We have Full-Time & Part-Time options available. We prefer the candidate work 30-40hrs/week.

Availability: Must be available to work weekends. Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation: Earn 50% of all photo package purchases! Average pay is $15-$40 per hour, hourly + commission.
