Job Description:

Our downtown Toronto client has a 12 month hybrid remote renewable contract for a Full Stack .NET Developer. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and remediation of application issues, contributing to reusable software components, developing web applications on multiple web browsers, analyzing requirements for reports and enhancements to web-based systems, and developing applications that use a relational database to store and retrieve data. Experience with diagnosing application issues without server access and knowledge of applications deployed to a three-tier infrastructure with load balancing is also required.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with desktop and web-based tools (Visio, MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint)
• Experience developing, testing, and debugging code using .NET, XML, and ASP.NET development
• Experience with .NET framework, MVC, Entity framework, WCF, WFF, LINQ
• ASP.NET development with C#, Web forms, JScript, CSS for multi-browser support
• Experience with configuration and administration of operating systems (Microsoft Windows and Linux/UNIX)
• Strong experience in XML
• Relational Database development experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server
• Experience with client-side libraries (Bootstrap, Angular JS, JQuery, JavaScript), HTML5/CSS3
• Development experience in web accessibility (WCAG 2.0+) standards and security (OWASP) best practices

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid remote position based in downtown Toronto. The candidate must have experience developing software applications deployed to a three-tier infrastructure with load balancing on both the presentation and application tiers. They should also have the ability to produce functional requirements for reports and other enhancements to web-based systems based on client-specific requirements analysis.
