Job Description:

We’re seeking an in-office front-end web developer to join our web design team. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in web development, with experience building sites from the ground up on local servers, and making changes to live sites across platforms, using frameworks like React and preprocessors like SASS. As a front-end developer, you’ll be trusted with a lot of autonomy to develop technologically innovative solutions to align with our client’s business goals. You’ll frequently collaborate with colleagues across design and marketing teams, working closely with the web design team to execute iterative work that meets expectations and drives results. You’ll take responsibility for creating web projects that are both visually appealing and functional, implementing existing designs, and creating new designs. You’ll be working primarily with B2B clients in finance and SaaS industries. Strong communication with internal teams and clients, the ability to interpret and apply feedback, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excels in both self-directed autonomous projects and highly collaborative projects.
• Good critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Frontend development languages, including HTML5, SASS, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Frameworks and libraries, including React, Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Node.js.
• Experience establishing local servers, web hosting, domains, etc., and building web projects from start to finish.
• Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of user experience and usability best practices.
• Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines.
• Conversion rate optimization and SEO knowledge.
• Responsive/mobile design.
• Designing Figma wireframes and mockups.
• Experience with APIs, AJAX, jQuery, PHP, and Python.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

• This is an in-office position. We require that applicants work from our Rexburg office. Remote applicants will not be considered.
