Job Description

The Temp Senior Product Designer, Design Systems role at Headspace involves developing and applying system interface elements, icons, text styles, and uniform terminology to new features. The primary responsibility is to work on the Design System, including developing and maintaining a pattern library and documentation. The designer will also advocate for UI standards and accessibility across the organization. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the quality and familiarity of the design system.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant design experience, including experience in creating design systems. Proficiency in Figma is required, particularly in creating shared libraries. In addition, the candidate should have a strong understanding of visual and user experience design, web and mobile applications, and platform-specific interface patterns. Knowledge of information architecture and experience in developing software is essential. The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and should have knowledge of current and emerging digital devices and platforms.
