Job Description

Wellcare PAL is seeking a Freelance Videographer/Editor to join our team. As our office is located in East Los Angeles, the candidate should be able to travel around the Greater Los Angeles area. The candidate must provide their own filming camera/equipment and editing software. Compensation will be based on a project-by-project basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include

• Filming and Capturing Footage: Execute on-location video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage that aligns with project requirements. Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.
• Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw video footage to produce engaging and compelling content. Incorporate music, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product. Ensure a consistent and cohesive style throughout all video projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our creative team to understand project goals and deliver content that meets or exceeds expectations. Collaborate with other team members, such as graphic designers and content creators, to achieve a unified vision.
• Meeting Deadlines: Manage project timelines effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality videos on time. Communicate any potential delays or challenges in a proactive manner.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in videography and video editing.
• Equipment: Ability to provide own filming camera/equipment and editing software.
• Skills: Proficient in operating video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices. Strong video editing skills, including the use of music, graphics, and effects. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Location: Must be able to travel around the Greater Los Angeles area.
• Schedule: Able to work on weekdays and be on-call on weekends as needed.

Additional Information

The first project is scheduled to begin on 2/9/24. The candidate will work on a contract basis and the pay range is between $22.00 - $27.00 per hour.
