Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic User Experience (UX) designer to help us transform the way residents access council services. You will be at the forefront of designing new user experiences that are intuitive and engaging, helping to increase customer self-service. As a UX designer, you will be a problem solver who champions customer needs and contributes to our ambitious digital transformation plans.

Requirements:

• Passionate about creating digital experiences that engage and solve problems for users
• Strong customer advocate who puts users at the center of work
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in designing intuitive and engaging user experiences
• Ability to champion customer needs
• Experience in driving digital transformation
• Good collaboration and communication skills

Salary:

The full-time salary for this position from 1st April 2024 will be £33,024 to £35,745. The salary will be pro rata for part-time and term-time vacancies.

Our team embraces home working but still regularly comes into the office when face-to-face conversations are beneficial. Flexitime is also optionally available for managing time. The job can be done at home or in the office as long as it is completed to the correct standard.
