Graphic Designer is needed in Montevallo, United States.

Location: Montevallo, AL

Contract: Temporary, Part-time

Job Description:

This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable design experience and build a design portfolio while creating promotional materials for the University.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Work closely with the creative services manager in the Office of University Marketing & Communications to create publicity and promotional materials for the University.

2. Manage creative projects to produce brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, logos, digital signage, T-shirts, etc.

3. Document client’s creative requests and notate project progression.

4. Assist with other Marketing & Communications projects, as needed.

Requirements:

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

1. Candidate must have successfully completed at least one graphic design course.

2. Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

3. Have knowledge of design elements and principles.

4. Must be detail-oriented and mindful of deadlines.

5. Experience with publication design is highly preferred.
