Job Description
This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable design experience and build a design portfolio while creating promotional materials for the University. Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the creative services manager in the Office of University Marketing & Communications to create publicity and promotional materials for the University.
- Manage creative projects to produce brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, logos, digital signage, T-shirts, etc.
- Document client’s creative requests and notate project progression.
- Assist with other Marketing & Communications projects, as needed.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Candidate must have successfully completed at least one graphic design course.
- Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Have knowledge of design elements and principles.
- Must be detail oriented and mindful of deadlines.
- Experience with publication design is highly preferred.
