Graphic Designer is needed in San Antonio, United States.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Contract: Part-time

Job Description:

• Assist with planning, construction, and installation of elements designed.
• Render drawings, illustrations, model design concepts, and present for approval.
• Read and prepare working drawings and/or construction documents.
• Create full-size print-ready art for production of signs or printed elements.
• Meet assigned deadlines for each phase of a project and keep supervisor informed of changes.
• Work in the sign shop laying vinyl, prepping substrates, running printers, and fabricating signs and printed elements.
• Install signage and print elements throughout parks.
• Attend or coordinate production meetings as needed.
• Develop and follow style guides and DNA sheets as a brand steward.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Acrobat Professional.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on a PC and Mac.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well on a team and accept feedback.
• Comfortable working under deadline situations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
• Ability to interact positively with park guests and coworkers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Other Important Information:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• One year or more of experience in sign design, graphic design, or related field.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Practices safe work habits, including use of personal protective equipment.
