Job Description

NonStop Local Montana has an immediate opening for a Digital Content Producer to run our website and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, writing, and good grammar skills. Previous experience in a professional news organization is a plus but not required, as we can provide training. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that can be based in either our Missoula or Billings newsroom.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and desire to participate in social media
• Previous experience with a professional news organization (preferred)
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Ability to adapt in a changing media and technology landscape
• Passion and dedication to news
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and work cooperatively with other staff members
• Experience editing news copy and/or video

We are a family-owned and operated multi-business organization that provides the necessary tools and training for success. We offer a friendly, supportive, and professional team atmosphere. This is a part-time position with expected hours of 20 per week. The starting pay is $14.00 per hour. Health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off benefits are included.
