Job Description

Cardwell Beach is seeking a freelance SEO Specialist. Responsibilities:

• Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to assist in content title selection and overall content strategy.
• Google Updates and Proactivity: Stay informed about Google updates and proactively recommend necessary website changes.
• Technical Website Analysis: Perform technical scans of the website, collaborating with web developers to enhance site speed and performance.
• Optimization of Content: Work on SEO optimization for site content, including tagging, internal linking, and keyword strategy. Provide revision suggestions as needed.
• Collaboration with Writers: Coordinate with the content creation team for effective content strategy and implementation.
• Click-Through Rate Optimization: Test and optimize page headlines for improved click-through rates.
• Offsite SEO Management: Lead offsite SEO efforts, including updating directories and social profiles.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
• Knowledge of current SEO practices and Google algorithms
• Experience with keyword research and analysis
• Technical understanding of website structure and performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
