Job Description:

Visual Concepts is seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Artist to work on NBA2K game development within the User Interface group. This is a temporary role lasting 6 months and can be remote or in-office. The candidate will collaborate with visual designers, modelers, animators, and game designers to bring wireframes to life and create animated experiences for end users. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and assembling motion graphics, implementing UI/UX designs, and collaborating with design and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital art content creation pipeline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sense of color theory, composition, and typography
• Proficient in Maya and Adobe Suite
• Experience with instanced art asset pipelines
• Ability to work in a remote team and use messaging systems like Slack or MS Teams
• Understanding of game engine limitations and ability to scale role to each phase of game production
• Experience with scripting languages and rigging (nice to have)
• Knowledge of realtime shaders in a 3D modeling package or game engine (nice to have)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously

• A test or online portfolio/reel may be required
• Leadership or vendor/client relationship experience is a plus
• Open to full or hybrid remote work
• Casual or hardcore gaming experience is preferred
