Job Description:

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for driving design strategies for the portfolio of the next generation bioprocessing solution. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, prototyping and iterating on mockups, evaluating requirements and customer data, leading UI/UX discovery activities, creating deliverables, maintaining UI/UX artifacts documentation, and guiding and mentoring junior designers. You will also be responsible for evangelizing user experience and usability best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• An exceptional portfolio of UI design showcasing a wide array of design thinking and user-centered methodologies
• Strong experience with UX design, human-centered design practices, interaction design, usability testing, and user research
• Expertise in Figma and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop recommendations
• Experience translating complex concepts into an easy-to-understand format
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and experience working in an agile environment
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, multitask environment while remaining attentive to details
• Ability to articulate and defend design decisions in front of business teams
• Open to feedback with a continuous improvement mindset

Additional Information:

• Experience working in a regulated industry (life science, medical, etc.)
• Experience with localization and globalization design practices
• Experience working in an international team
• Experience working with Jira and familiarity with SAFe methodologies
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

Job Type, Pay, and Benefits:

• Full-time or Contract position
• Pay range: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Bachelor’s degree required. Experience levels required for this position: 5 years, 6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years, 10 years, 11+ years.

Schedule and Work Location:

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Hybrid remote work in Bedford, MA 01730.
