Job Description

• Infobahn Solutions is hiring 3 plus Senior Java Developers in the Washington DC Metro Area for a US Government Federal Project with the Department of Treasury .
• The Java Developers will be part of a team converting Main Frame code using Java , Kafka on AWS Gov Cloud.
• Lead the design and implementation of data migration solutions using Java technologies, with a specific focus on ACL (Audit Command Language) code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and quality assurance engineers, to understand data requirements and business needs.
• Translate ACL code scripts into Java applications to facilitate data migration processes.
• Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data migration.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify and address data integrity issues during migration.
• Optimize and tune data migration processes for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data migration requirements and specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10 plus years of experience as a Java Developer with a specific focus on data migration, especially from ACL code.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.
• Proven experience translating ACL code scripts into Java applications.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.

Other Information:

• Project requirements mandate role open only for US Citizens.
• Treasury Security Clearance a plus, all other candidates will have to go through Clearance process before being able to start on the project.
• No exceptions to this requirement.
• Ability to get a US Government Clearance is Mandatory.
• Job Types: Full-time, Contract
• Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
