Job Description:

Objective: To support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models.

Responsibilities:

• Develops project execution plans, deployment schedules, and implements User Experience UX design projects of moderate to complex scope
• Significant experience in design fundamentals
• Significant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standards
• Significant experience in user centered design processes and best practices
• Working knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms
• Ability to interpret requirements into executable design solutions
• Strong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skills
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Significant experience performing analysis of business processes and functions
• Advanced skill in managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation; working across teams
• Create prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectives
• Influence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mind
• Collaborate with project teams to define solutions
• Operate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflow
• Proactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestones

Requirements:

• Experience working as a UX Designer with agile, and user centered design a must
• Resumes should have portfolio or work samples included
• A MINIMUM of 3 real world examples of DIRECT UX work - Wireframes, Prototypes, Flows, User stories

Additional Information:

• Location: Vienna, VA - Hybrid, 1 day/week onsite
• Terms: long term contract to hire
• Compensation: $42-45/hr W2 with Health, Vision and Dental Benefits
• Expected hours: 40 per week
