Job Description:

This position is for an Assistant Videographer who will be the second cameraperson on a crew shooting live dance shows across Texas. The job duration is 12 weeks, starting from the end of March to mid-June 2024. The assistant videographer will be required to work evening and weekend shifts. All shoot locations are in the Austin area or within 3 hours of Austin, with travel pay included. Full training, transportation to/from shoots, and all necessary gear will be provided by the company. There is also the opportunity for talented candidates to advance to a Lead Videographer position, including bonuses for leading successful shoots. Advancement is dependent on candidate availability and on-location skills assessment. This job is paid bi-weekly and is perfect for students or recent grads wanting real-world live event video experience with a local company in business for 20 years.

Requirements:

• Experience in shooting (1 year preferred)
• Availability for night shifts and overnight shifts (preferred)
• Willingness to travel (required, up to 50% of the time)

Schedule:

• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are required.
• There are mandatory high-demand dates: April 19-20; April 26-27; May 18; June 1; June 8.
• Most shifts will be in the evening and night.
• Some shoot shifts may run up to 13 hours.
