Job Description

Roots Research is seeking a talented and driven Social Media Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador for both Roots Research and Take Part In Research, implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engage with relevant audiences, and monitor channels. They will be responsible for managing B2C and B2B content posting on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a track record of managing social media channels for brands
• Proficiency with social media platforms and a strong understanding of their algorithms and features
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with social media management tools preferred
• Familiarity with other social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube) is a plus
• Passion for social media and staying ahead of industry trends
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate

• Job Type: Part-time
• Salary: £10,666.00-£13,440.00 per year
• Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
• Schedule: Flexitime Monday to Friday
• Experience: Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred), Content creation: 1 year (preferred)
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brighton
