Job Description
SoilSerdem is looking for a Software Engineer to join their DevOps team in Ames, IA. The role involves developing and deploying cloud services, programming functions, and managing APIs following detailed procedures. This position contributes to programming, deploying, and maintaining SoilSerdem’s cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and deploy modern web applications based on specified UX designs
- Work within modern cloud environments and collaborate with team members
- Assist in designing systems and components according to product requirements
- Communicate effectively with project teams
Requirements
- 1 year of software development experience
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Effective communication skills for providing time estimates
- Experience in web application development & deployment
- Knowledge of server-side programming languages & frameworks
- Willingness to follow mentor/supervisor guidance
Other Information
This is a part-time position with expected hours of 20-30 per week. Benefits include dental insurance, health insurance, and visa sponsorship. The compensation package offers hourly pay between $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year. The work location is a hybrid remote setup in Ames, IA 50010.
