Job Description

Cat Daddy Games is seeking temporary Animation help to support the on-time launch of a new mobile game title. The ideal candidate will work with the animation team to define, create, and maintain animation pipelines and rigs for the studio’s mobile game titles. They will deliver content that fits each game’s vision while also being mindful of all technical requirements and constraints. The role entails implementing, testing, and debugging animations using Cat Daddy’s proprietary software and in-game tools, seeking feedback for refinement, and collaborating with the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role would have proven experience as an Animator with mobile gaming experience preferred. They should have extensive experience using 3DS Max for character setup and animation, strong technical skills in building custom rigging solutions, a good understanding of animation principles, mastery of hand key animation, and experience with motion capture. A self-starter attitude, problem-solving skills, communication abilities, familiarity with source control software, understanding of gameplay mechanics, willingness to learn new tools, and a passion for games are also desirable. Interested individuals must provide an online portfolio showcasing previous work.

• Position Type: Temporary (up to 12 months)
• Working Days: On-site 5 days a week
• Compensation: Expected to be between $28.85 and $43.27 per hour, with additional benefits including medical insurance, paid sick days, bonus and/or equity awards, and 401(K) plan eligibility
