UI Designer is needed in Rapid City, United States.

Location: Rapid City, SD

Contract: Temporary, Contract

Job Description:

• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and programmers to gather and evaluate user requirements.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps in collaboration with UI Artists.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Requirements:

• BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or significant student projects.
• A strong portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision).
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.

Other Information:

• This is a long-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
• Compensation is $22/hr.
• Work will be onsite in Rapid City, SD 2-3 days a week and the remaining days will be work-from-home.
• Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance.
• Schedule is an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to relocate to Rapid City, SD 57703 is required.
