Are you a talented graphic designer with web development skills looking for a role where you can work on a variety of interesting projects? We are looking for our next team member to help us take our marketing to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that communicate brand messages effectively. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging graphics for various marketing materials including print and digital assets. You’ll be part of a fun, motivated, and growing team dedicated to providing top-notch service to our clients.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role

- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design software

- Strong understanding of layout design principles and color theory

- Familiarity with WordPress and HTML5 is a plus

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients

Audience Development Strategies is a local event and association management firm based in Avon, CT. ADS supports professional trade associations and societies by overseeing events, marketing, social media, web development, sales, member relations, finance, and compliance. In addition, ADS produces events under the ADS banner. We are a small, growing firm with a strong focus on excellence, respect, and fun. Our team works collaboratively on internal and client projects. Our clients include associations in the construction, manufacturing, finance, and medical fields.

Duties

- Create eye-catching designs for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, social media posts, and website banners

- Update and maintain our WordPress websites and build new pages as needed

- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and objectives

- Use Adobe Illustrator and other design software to create high-quality graphics

- Collaborate with contracted web developer to implement designs on WordPress websites

- Illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts

- Work with sign manufacturing companies to create signage designs

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Work Location: In person
