Job Description:

As a Front End Software Engineer, you will join a highly functioning team responsible for delivering complete frontend sites and products, parsing APIs into front-end interfaces, building responsive designs, handling page navigation, and turning mock-ups into web pages. You will write, test, maintain, and document re-usable code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with other team members across the software development lifecycle.

Technical Skill and Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Familiarity with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology
• Experience in front-end development technologies using Angular 2+, HTML5, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript
• Ability to create component-based reusable and testable modules and pages
• Experience with data interchange formats like JSON or XML
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Background in Angular (1 or 2), Meteor.js, Bootstrap, Webpack, Node, or Gulp
• Experience in building responsive web sites
• Ability to write unit tests using BDD or TDD
• Eye for detail and understanding of databases, platforms, APIs, and other web services

Additional Information:

Remote work is possible for part-time contract roles with significant overlap with Central Time Zone working hours. Full-time positions are on-site in Wichita, Kan. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
