Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Freelance Videographer at Blazendary, LTD. The responsibilities include shooting and editing videos, operating cameras, setting up lighting equipment, and creating high-quality video content. The duties include but are not limited to:

• Filming videos on set / on location
• Working with creative teams and clients to plan video shoots
• Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment
• Editing footage after recording
• Adding computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to footage
• Preparing background film, also called B rolls
• Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
• Creative thinking with a trained eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
• Knowledge of post-production techniques
• Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for extended periods of time
• Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting
• Working with/directing talent during cinematic shoots

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Video Production, Camera Operation, and Lighting skills - 3+ years’ experience preferred
• Experience in shooting and editing videos - 2+ years’ experience preferred
• Knowledge of various camera equipment - 3+ years’ experience preferred
• The ability to travel as a team with equipment, preferred
• Owning your own laptop / desktop, preferred

Salary

$15 - $30 per hour, based on experience.

This is a hybrid role located in Yonkers, NY, with flexibility for some remote work.
