Job Description
Save Red Rock, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Red Rock Canyon NCA, is seeking a part-time Social Media and Marketing Manager. The role involves managing social, digital ad, and email content creation, distribution, and analysis. Responsibilities also include attending meetings, engaging with elected officials, and assisting with event planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in marketing/communications, 7 years of workforce experience, familiarity with nonprofit boards, strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, proficiency in content design and maintaining brand aesthetics, experience with event planning, passion for Red Rock Canyon, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Canva, Google Drive, Mailchimp, social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube), analytics tools (Google, Action Network), and email marketing platforms.
Duties
Tasks include generating and moderating social media content, engaging with community partners, analyzing social data, creating public-facing materials, coordinating events, attending meetings and events, preparing reports for the Executive Director and Board, and meeting with stakeholders to further the organization’s mission.
