Job Description

This position is for an AWS Cloud Engineer who will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement cloud solutions for DTMB agency services supporting MDHHS. The resource will be pivotal in designing, executing, and managing cloud projects to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Cloud technologies experience, preferably in AWS.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security best practices.
• Optimize AWS resources and applications performance.
• Experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, VPC, LAMDA, Amazon MSK, OpenShift, EKS or ECS Fargate, ECR.
• Implement cost-effective solutions and analyze AWS pricing models.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and AWS Config.
• Experience with Elastic Stack and Kubernetes concepts.
• Working knowledge of Docker containers.
• AWS certifications preferred.
