Job Description:
- Capture high-quality and visually appealing photographs for various assignments
- Use artistic and technical skills to compose and frame shots
- Edit and retouch photos to enhance their quality and appeal
- Manage and organize digital files and maintain an efficient workflow
- Contribute to social media management by providing engaging visual content
- Cover events and news as appointed by Publisher/Editor and supervisor
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a freelance photographer or in a similar role
- Proficient in photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and editing
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in social media management
- Understanding of journalism principles for capturing newsworthy images
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
- Artistic eye for detail and creativity in capturing unique perspectives
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Contract
- Pay: $18.88 - $22.74 per hour
- Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
- Compensation package: Bonus opportunities
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
- Criminal record individuals are encouraged to apply
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience: Photography: 1 year (Preferred)
- License/Certification: Driver’s License (Required)
- Work Location: On the road
