Contract: Part Time, Full Time

Job Description

Digital Factory, part of IT Services at Network Rail, focuses on delivering innovative products using Agile techniques that provide real business value and embrace accessibility. The team in Milton Keynes covers discovery, design, development, test, and support. The role involves leading the design and delivery of prototypes and setting design standards for Digital Applications.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Graphics Design or equivalent experience
  • Advanced qualification in HCI/UI Design
  • Proven experience in UI Design, particularly web/mobile design
  • Experience in design language system implementation
  • Experience coaching junior colleagues in User Experience design
  • Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma
  • Experience in Agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stakeholder management and understanding customer needs

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Senior UI role
  • Development experience, including HTML5/CSS3 knowledge
  • Willingness to work in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Formal training in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UI Principles

Package Description
