Job Description
The New York Post is seeking a part-time Social Media Editor (Sat & Sun 9am - 5pm) to join the Audience Development team. Responsibilities include optimizing site content for social platforms, executing posting across various platforms, creating short-form videos, and staying updated on social media technologies.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of social media management experience, preferably with a large audience
- Basic video editing skills
- Strong news judgment and excellent writing and copy-editing skills
- Knowledge of digital media trends and emerging platforms
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Salary Range
$20/hour - $30/hour
