Job Description

The Senior Designer - UX will help lead the design and definition as a key contributor to Core UX team, Travel MBT, responsible for integrating human-centered practices in unpacking and improving the digital customer experience across all stages of the travel journey. The Core UX team supports defining digital product strategy and providing the leadership to execute on that strategy with the help of cross-functional mission-based teams. We’re looking for an empathic, passionate curious designer who celebrates delivering high-quality solutions and thrives for innovation in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Visualize ideas using professional design tools as well as other tools required for ideation and moving forward
• Initiate and respond to ideas for innovation/improvements based on research, analysis, and competitive reviews
• Identify user needs and business requirements
• Ensure digital customer touch points are consistent with the user experience and brand standards
• Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions
• Create low and high fidelity interactive prototypes in a rapid, iterative and collaborative process
• Work with usability researchers to design test plans and iterate designs based on user testing feedback

Hybrid position based in Chicago, IL 60606

Salary Range

The salary for this position is between $130K - $135K annually. Pay may vary based on factors such as geography, skills, education, and experience.

• Prior experience in UX design for mobile and web applications
• Strong proficiency with professional design tools
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to innovation
• Understanding of user needs and a solution-oriented mindset
• Experience in developing interactive prototypes and usability testing
