Job Description

This position involves being the second cameraperson on a crew responsible for filming live dance shows across Texas. The job duration is 12 weeks, starting from the end of March to mid-June 2024. The role includes evening and weekend shifts and all shoot locations are in the Austin area or within 3 hours of Austin, with travel pay provided.

Full training, transportation to/from shoots, and all necessary gear will be provided by the company. There is an opportunity for talented candidates to advance to a Lead Videographer position, with bonuses available for leading successful shoots. Advancement is based on availability and on-location skills assessment. Candidates will be paid bi-weekly.

This role is suitable for students or recent graduates looking to gain real-world live event video experience with a well-established local company in business for 20 years.

Requirements

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule: 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift

Experience: Shooting: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred), Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)

Schedule

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are required for this position. There are mandatory high-demand dates: April 19-20; April 26-27; May 18-19; June 1. The majority of shifts are in the evening and night, and some shifts may last up to 13 hours.
