Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking graphic designer to join the University’s Creative Services team in the Department of Marketing. You’ll produce engaging and inclusive designs for our Campus Services department and ResLife, including social media posts, posters, brochures, and digital screen graphics. You’ll also develop and implement new brand identities for our food & retail outlets, as well as branded merchandise and clothing.

This is a part-time maternity cover post, working 21.9 hours per week. You will be required to work on campus 2 days per week. The post holder will start on or around 17.06.2024.

Requirements

• Have worked in an agency or client-side designing digital assets and for print.
• Portfolio that demonstrates designing, developing, and executing creative briefs across various channels.
• Experience in managing design projects from creative brief to final production.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and After Effects.
• Ability to interpret design briefs creatively, deliver on time and on budget.
• Positive, proactive, collaborative attitude to working.
• Ability to handle feedback effectively and adapt to changing needs.
