Designer is needed in Sterling Heights, United States.

Client: The Panther Group

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Contract: Temporary, Temp-to-hire, Full-time, Contract

Job Description:

• Design innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical concepts and products.
• Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and clients to meet design specifications.
• Ensure designs are free of defects and compliant with standards.
• Apply CAD methodologies and review engineering documents.
• Provide technical consultation and expert knowledge in design.
• Develop concepts for existing and new product lines.
• Prepare design layouts, schematics, and drawings to meet system requirements.
• Coordinate with systems engineers to fulfill contractual requirements.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Experience with Pro-E/Creo CAD system and Creo 7.
• Proficiency in tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of military drawings and specifications.
• Comprehensive product line knowledge and production methods expertise.

Experience and Skills Preferred:

• Experience in a defense environment and with MBD (Model Based Definition).
• Understanding of production methods and human factors.
