Job Description

The Temporary Graphic Designer provides design expertise, produces visual designs, and executes on the development of marketing and communications materials leveraging digital, motion graphic, and print expertise. The incumbent requires extensive design knowledge and specialized, multi-faceted design theory, processes, and media. As a temporary member of the Office of Marketing and Communications, the incumbent will take a leading role in the creative design of branded marketing materials. They will use and adhere to the Brand Style Guidelines provided by the college and may support enterprise-level strategic marketing/communication design priorities as directed by the Executive Director of Marketing. This job is temporary and fully remote.

Requirements

- Partners with the Executive Director of Marketing to define design criteria for projects, develop/manage graphic design concepts, and present them for review

- Follows creative brief and provides art direction to produce finished designs

- Creates, completes, and prepares final design files for production

- Adheres to design project timelines and deadlines set forth by the Executive Director of Marketing

- Oversees the creation and maintenance of graphic designs within the current design library (print and digital design assets); updates assets as needed as directed by the Executive Director of Marketing
