Job Description

The Church Keyboardist (organ and piano) is responsible for providing organ and piano music for scheduled worship services, rehearsals, and special activities in support of the music ministry. This role involves working closely with ministerial staff and the church community in enhancing the worship experience through music.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Attendance at fifty Sunday morning worship services, Tuesday night Praise Band rehearsals, Wednesday night Sanctuary Choir rehearsals, and other special services
• Support the worship environment through well-prepared music execution
• Facilitate congregational singing and worship through hymns and songs
• Plan, select, and prepare preludes, postludes, and offertories
• Play for funerals of church members as requested
• Permitted to receive compensation for weddings

• Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Schedule: 4-hour shift on weekends as needed
