Job Description
We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content across various platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for writing and a strong understanding of content marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, original, and engaging content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, and other marketing channels
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to develop well-informed and accurate content
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with company goals
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Optimize content for search engines using relevant keywords and SEO best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to generate new content ideas
- Assist in managing and updating website content using WordPress or other content management systems
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing content
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software for basic image editing
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML5 and basic web design principles is preferred
- Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Additional Information
- Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
- Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
- Benefits: Retirement plan, Tuition reimbursement
- Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: Hybrid remote in Garden City, NY 11530
