Job Description:

The Junior Graphic Designer position at Groot Hospitality is an entry-level role that involves working closely with the Graphic Designers to support various projects and assignments. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning graphic design.

Day To Day & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to support editing print and digital collateral.
• Create digital and print sizing for marketing assets as needed.
• Edit social media content, including marketing assets for culinary, activations, nightlife/daylife, etc.
• Proof and prepare files of various formats, such as business cards, menus, venue collateral, billboards, etc.
• Meet project goals and deadlines for on-time project delivery.
• Show design capability with attention to detail and execution.
• Work as a team player on multiple projects with different deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant graphic design experience.
• Preferred experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• Proficiency in Project Management/Communication Software (e.g., Monday.com, Basecamp, Slack).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong sense of layout, composition, and color.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
