Job Description

This position is for a User Experience Designer at Aquent Studios, working on projects for a top client in Fargo, ND. The designer will be part of the Intelligent Solutions Group – Electronic Systems, responsible for creating user interaction flows, developing mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes, and collaborating with digital product managers and development teams.

• Apply usability, human factors, and UI processes for intuitive user experiences.
• Work with development teams to ensure feature implementation as per specifications.
• Assist in pre- and post-development usability testing.
• Create and maintain project design artifacts.
• Provide design reviews and suggestions related to UX best practices.
• Conduct design workshops with stakeholders.
• Utilize user research insights for product development discussions.
• Conduct quality assurance on designs with attention to detail.
• Communicate mockups and design language to various groups and management levels.
• Collaborate with Digital Product Managers on UX needs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX/Interaction Design.
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or InVision.
• Experience in agriculture, construction vehicles, electronics manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Working knowledge of software development and testing practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in responsive design and mobile interface design.
• Experience with data-driven analytics tools like ContentSquare, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.

Education Preferred

Ideally, candidates will have a Bachelor of Arts/Science in a related field or equivalent work experience (Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Excellent communication skills.

Other Information

This is a contract position with an hourly pay of $40.00 - $44.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance. The role requires working 8 hours per week onsite in West Fargo, ND, with relocation to the same area before starting work.
