Job Description

The Graphic Design Specialist supports the development of documentation created by the Global Technical Publications department. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate various technical information concisely, accurately, and in a visual way that is easy to understand and follow in both print and digital media. The specialist is responsible for following guidelines on image size and output for callouts, screen captures, and other illustrations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce and edit images for instructions
• Collaborate to collect screen captures
• Create images from inception to completion
• Ensure compliance with FDA and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain an internal image repository
• Develop intake forms
• Adhere to policies and procedures
• Participate in content review cycles
• Provide feedback on design elements
• Suggest new creative solutions
• Represent corporate brands across media

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization
• Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Design degree preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a collaborative team environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, Windows, and Macintosh systems
• Experience with Figma and SmartSheet preferred
