Job Description
- Perform live music in various settings such as church services, rehearsals, and events
- Collaborate with other musicians to create cohesive performances
- Select appropriate musical pieces for performances
- Engage with the audience and create an enjoyable experience
- Set up and dismantle musical equipment
- Attend rehearsals and meetings as necessary
Requirements
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
- Strong knowledge of music theory and composition
- Ability to read sheet music and learn new pieces quickly
- Excellent improvisation skills
- Experience in theater productions is desirable
- Strong stage presence and audience connection
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Other Information
- All positions, including internships, must be paid
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $35.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
- Schedule: Weekends only
- Ability to Relocate: Covington, GA 30016 (Required)
- Work Location: In person
